On 17th October 2014 four members from Impact Taekwon-Do Australia travelled to Sydney to attend the final team selections for the National team to represent Australia at the 19th Senior an 13th Junior World championships to be held 27th – 31st of May 2015 in Jesolo, Italy.
Sabumnim Michael Nguyen was selected for 4th-6th Dan patterns, Pre-arranged sparring, Team special techniques and Team sparring and Team Power breaking.
Sabumnim Tony Nguyen was selected for 4th-6th Dan patterns, Pre-arranged sparring, Team special techniques and Team sparring and Team Power breaking.
Miss Natalie Jewell was selected -50kg sparring, 2nd Dan patterns, Team special techniques and Team sparring and Team Power breaking.
Mr Trent Parkarinen-Stephens unfortunately sustained an injury was not able to complete the requirements of the selection panel. He showed great potential for Power breaking was this was recognised by the selection committee and invited to be part of the development team for future consideration.
The team was kindly hosted in Sydney by Miss Samantha Faddoul and her family.
