On the 6th July Sabumnim Michael Nguyen sent a team of 14 competitors to the ITF Victorian Challenge hosted by Il Shim Taekwon-Do Melbourne. The day attracted competitors from all around Melbourne, regional Victoria, Queensland as well as New South Wales. It was a great day of competition. All athletes performed exceptionally well. The team took home 32 trophies in the individual events. But to top off a successful campaign Mr Matthew Nguyen and Mr Jetrin Sirisy took out Overall male Champion in the Senior and Junior division respectively.
It was great to see everyone participating in the true spirit of Taekwondo regardless of affiliation.
